Let’s get you playing.
Answers about color orders, saved progress and those moments when you need another plan.
What am I trying to do?
Drag shapes onto the board and fill complete rows or columns. A full line clears, and its colors count toward your order. You can mix colors in the same line. Collect every target color before your moves run out.
There’s no timer. You can open Your plan to see the next set of shapes. Stars reward a more efficient route, and you can retry a level for free.
How do I place a shape without covering it with my thumb?
Touch a shape in the tray and drag it toward the board. The floating shape is raised above your finger so you can see it. Its outline shows where it will land; an × indicates that the position is not valid.
You can also select a shape and tap the board space where its top-left corner should go. Shapes keep their orientation.
What happens if I make a mistake or run out of moves?
Each Color Orders attempt includes one free Undo. Later Undos can be earned by completing an optional rewarded ad when available.
If no shape fits, a rewarded Rewind ×3 can take back up to three moves once per attempt, restoring that earlier board, shapes, move count and collected colors. You can always retry the level for free. Running out of moves ends the attempt, not your saved progress or previous best.
How does the daily puzzle work?
Daily Order offers the same seeded puzzle for each UTC date, using boards from the game’s puzzle catalogue. Retrying that day keeps the same board and shapes. The change of day may happen at a different time than local midnight.
Daily Score is a separate seeded score challenge. Daily records are saved on your device; there is no public or global leaderboard.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. The puzzles and core gameplay are included in the app. An internet connection is needed to load advertising and earn ad-supported assistance. A missing ad never prevents a free retry.
Where is my progress saved?
Your levels, stars, scores, cosmetic unlocks and current attempt are saved locally on your device. There is no Color Orders account or automatic game-operated cloud sync between devices.
Avoid deleting or reinstalling the app to fix a problem before contacting us, because removing app data can remove your progress. Apple’s device backup or restore may apply according to your settings.
Why isn’t an ad loading?
An ad may be unavailable because you are offline, no suitable ad is available, a privacy choice prevents a request, or the advertising service is temporarily unavailable. Check your connection and try again later. If the game offers Retry ad setup, you can try that option.
Ad rewards are given only when the advertising service confirms completion. Closing an ad early or a failed load does not grant a reward. You can continue playing and retry levels for free while ads are unavailable.
What does watching a rewarded ad give me?
The game tells you the reward before you choose to request an ad. Depending on the situation, an optional rewarded ad can provide an extra Undo, a Rewind, a skip, or assistance in Classic.
A level skip opens the next level but does not award completion stars for the skipped puzzle. You can return to earn those stars later.
Are there purchases or a subscription?
The original Chroma Blocks 1.0 release has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. It is free and supported by banner ads and optional rewarded ads. Where a Color Orders version offers Plus or a trial, the app shows the actual App Store price, benefits and renewal terms before you choose to purchase. Existing core levels remain part of the free game.
How do I change the sound or advertising privacy options?
Tap the music-note button on the home screen to open sound settings. Music and sound effects can be switched independently.
When Google requires ongoing advertising privacy choices, an Ad privacy options button appears in that menu and in the level plan. Learn more in our privacy policy.
The game is stuck or something looks wrong.
Close and reopen the app, then check whether an update is available. If the problem continues, email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, app version and level number. Tell us what happened just before the problem. A screenshot or short recording can help, but please remove any private information first.
Please do not uninstall the app before getting in touch if you want to preserve local progress.
